TURN IT UP! In Development

Turn It Up! Is an engaging, interactive live musical theater program that enables elementary school aged children to uncover how energy is made and how our energy choices affect the environment. The program has been successfully tested in both touring and stationary models and has now entered the final stages of development and readiness to launch nationally.

PROCESS

The program invites young children to be proactive in engaging grown ups in creating a healthy sustainable planet by making positive changes in their homes and communities. There are two models for presenting the Turn It Up! experience – the touring model and the stationary model. Both have been tested.

Turn It Up! toured the elementary schools in the Lawrence, Massachusetts school district over a period of three weeks.

Turn It Up! also performed a month residency at The Brooklyn Children’s museum.

STEPS

  • Secure engagements and sponsorships for Turn It Up! to be shared as a stationary exhibit at children’s museums throughout the country.

  • Secure funding to enable touring of Turn It Up! in school districts that are disproportionally being affected by the climate crisis.

  • Create a Turn It Up! turn-key package including props, music tracks and script, enabling student productions to perform the show for their communities.

  • Secure publication and distribution of the Turn It Up! coloring and activity book.

  • Develop, produce and distribute a serial TV show based on the underlying characters and premise of the program.
